Boating, Water Ski, a BBQ with friends. Come join us for some fishing – no fishing permits are required for Paradise Dam just bring your boat and bring your family. We are 35km north-west from Biggenden and 100km south-west from Bundaberg.

If Water Skiing is your thing we have you covered, the lake has aroung 25 kms of skiable water and a great boat ramp for launching all sorts of boats from low sleek ski boats to big draft wake boats…

If caneoing is up your alley, come on out. It’s a perfect spot for a paddle. You can paddle in the open area of the lake or head up one of the many creeks with in a short run of the boat ramp…

Bookings are essential leading up to major public and school holiday periods


$10 per person per night
$5 per night for children over 5 years old
Pay for 6 nights at check in and receive the 7th night free
Powered sites are $25 per night which includes 2 adults

Powered Sites


Our powered sited are set up as a limited draw meaning that it is not able to support multiple high end caravans with appliances like electric hot water systems, microwaves, kettles, electric stoves and the like running simultaneously. We have 3 x 20 amps circuits with each circuit supplying 4 sites. Please limit your electrical use and be aware of your neighbors.

Site Layout and Use

At Paradise Dam you have the option of choosing one of two of the available areas for your stay. One being a designated Caravan Park with 10 low draw powered sites and 10 unpowered sites. This area sits on the same level as the Kiosk which is approximately 40 meters above the water level overlooking the dam. It is about a 100 meter walk to access the water.

The second area is a designated Camping Ground. There is 21 camp sites available and there is no power in this area. This site is best suited for basic camp setups although Caravans are allowed and welcome. There is no ramps or driveways to allow for Caravan access, your vehicle must be able to back up a small concrete curbing to access the site.


No fires on the ground (fires allowed in fire drums)
No generators after 9pm
All noise must be reduced to a low level by 10pm
All dogs must be restrained and under control at all times
No broken camp gear or rubbish to be left behind at these premises
Caravans must be reversed onto site


Our Kiosk is open on weekday from 10am to 3pm and weekends from 9am to 4pm. Our onsite Kiosk offers yummy foods  – cash only. We have an extensive menu to satisfy even the fussiest of tastes. The kiosk is also where you call in to check yourself in upon arrival. EFTPOS is available to pay for your camping fees only
